We are convinced that increased transparency and efficiency in the financial market is beneficial for all parties in the long run. Through high quality data and easy-to-use products, we want to contribute to this goal.
Modular Finance was founded in 2014 by Måns Flodberg and Petter Hedborg. The idea was to develop a portfolio of digital products for the financial market with an initial focus on creating a database of the ownership in Swedish listed companies. The first product, Holdings, was launched in 2015 and was aimed primarily at stockbrokers and generating ideas for new deals.
In 2016, Monitor was launched, which was the first product for Investor Relations professionals in listed companies. The aim was to give the listed company the same insights into its ownership base that were available through Holdings, but in a product specifically tailored for IR.
Since then, we have expanded our offering with related products and we are now a broad provider of easy-to-use but powerful systems for financial players and Investor Relations teams in the Nordics and UK.

Today we are just over 55 people who are organized in three core teams - Developers, Customer Managers and Data Specialists.
In 2022, Modular Finance had a turnover of just over SEK 100 million. The company is largely owned by the founders and staff.
